Modern Slavery Policy

Statement

APM Geo recognises that it has a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking.

APM Geo is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities, and to ensuring that its supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Organisations that provide goods or services to APM Geo are subject to appropriate due diligence. They are required to confirm they and their own supply chains are free from human trafficking and slavery.

Activities

The following company activities are considered to be at increased risk of modern slavery.  The list will be reviewed and updated from time to time.

  • Provision of materials supplied to APM Geo (such as marketing materials) which may be produced in jurisdictions or by organisations that are not compliant with such legislation;
  • Provision of IT or Support Services supplied to APM Geo which may be produced in jurisdictions or by organisations that are not compliant with such legislation;
  • Employment of sub consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors by APM Geo, where their work practices may be non-compliant.

Responsibility

Responsibility for APM Geo’s anti-slavery initiatives is as follows:

  • APM Geo’s Directors have primary responsibility for investigations and due diligence in relation to suspected instances of slavery and human trafficking. They will have oversight of all supplier procurement processes and activity to ensure that the company remains compliant with this modern slavery statement.
  • Training: All employees are required to read, understand and sign a document acknowledging their understanding of the company’s commitments under this statement and their responsibilities within this.

Due diligence

APM Geo undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and regularly reviews its existing suppliers.

  • Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier.
  • Preferring suppliers that have demonstrable and suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and process.
  • Reviewing existing supplier arrangements annually to ensure that our expected anti-slavery standards are being maintained.
  • Encouraging all employees to report concerns regarding potential non-compliance with our expected anti-slavery standards and protecting employees against any adverse treatment for raising concerns.
